Increasing Conversion Rates
Lifting conversion is a loop: track the outcomes that matter → see where users drop off and which sources convert → act on it. This guide shows the SDK calls and signals that make the loop work.
1. Track conversions with a value
Send a trackConversion event the moment an outcome completes, and always include an
amount — that's what lets Lucia compute CAC, ROAS, and revenue per campaign (not just
counts).
await LuciaSDK.trackConversion('purchase', 49.0, {
currency: 'USD',
product_id: 'pro-plan',
quantity: 1,
});
Use a consistent tag per outcome type (purchase, signup, subscribe) so conversion
rates are comparable over time. See Track Conversion.
2. Find the users who drop off
For each resolved user, Lucia maintains risk scores across four dimensions — churn, fraud, bot, and wallet risk — each on a 0–100 scale. Use the churn-risk score to spot accounts that are disengaging, and target them with retention UX (a simplified form, a reminder, an incentive) before they're gone. These scores are available per user in the dashboard and the Attribution API.
3. A/B test and compare conversion rate
Tag each variation so you can compare how it converts. Pass a meta object on the click:
await LuciaSDK.buttonClick('checkout-cta', { meta: { variant: 'A', location: 'pricing' } });
Lucia reports conversion rate per variant (the share of visitors who clicked that went on to convert), so you can keep the variant that wins and roll it out.
4. Reward the behaviors you want
Trigger on-chain rewards (airdrops, NFTs, or staking) on the milestones that correlate with retention — a wallet connection, a first purchase, a referral. See Key Benefits.
Illustrative example: a team used churn-risk scores to target a one-time incentive at users who were disengaging, and recovered a share of conversions that would otherwise have been lost.
