User Information
Tells Lucia who a visitor is once you know — usually right after they sign up or log in. Every earlier visit, click, and device from that person then joins one customer profile, so their conversion is credited to the campaign that first brought them in.
LuciaSDK.userInfo(user: string, userInfo: object): Promise<void>
| Argument | What to pass |
|---|---|
user | A stable identifier: email, your user ID, or a wallet address. |
userInfo | Any profile fields you want attached (name, plan, etc.). |
Example
LuciaSDK.userInfo('jane@example.com', {
first_name: 'Jane',
plan: 'pro',
});
Tips
- Call it as soon as you know who the user is — on signup and on every login.
- Use the same identifier every time, so visits on different devices match up.
- For web3 users, also call
sendWalletInfoso the wallet joins the same profile.
